about Younghui
Younghui Kim is a New York City-based designer who finds her inspiration from everyday things or reactions she observes and she likes to design interactive wearables that are not only fashionable but, also expressive with her personal statements. Younghui's fashionable technology projects have been showcased at many exhibitions such as SIGGRAPH, Gwangju Design Biennale, FutureFashion Event and Ubicomp Conference. They are featured on media such as Nippon TV, iChannel TV, Computer Graphics World and Art4D. . Younghui received her Masters degree from ITP at New York University and her BFA degree from the Parsons School of Design. Beside running her 8 years of Interactive Media agency, Missing Pixle, LLC, Younghui is currently teaching Interaction Design Studio at Digital Media Design Dept of Hongik University in Korea and continues to research and create interactive projects such as products, wearables and online based stories or exhibition design.
